The bit after the @

No @, no www. - just the domain itself (e.g. plumberyork.co.uk).

I already own this domain - great, just type it in.

Why it matters

A Gmail address costs you work you never hear about.

Nobody tells you they went elsewhere because your email looked amateur. They just do.

The first thing they judge

A quote from yourbusiness@gmail.com and one from hello@yourbusiness.co.uk read as two different companies, before anybody has read a word of either.

It is yours, not a platform’s

Addresses on your own domain belong to your business. If you ever change provider you take them with you - you are not rebuilding a customer list around a new address.

One inbox, not five

sales@, info@, bookings@ and accounts@ can all land in the same place, so nothing gets missed because it went to the address nobody checks.

What you get

A proper mailbox, not a forwarder.

Real storage, real protocols, and the things you would expect from any grown-up mail provider.

Included on every plan

  • Mailboxes on your own domain
  • Webmail, plus IMAP, POP3 and SMTP
  • Free aliases - 10, 50 or unlimited by plan
  • Spam filtering and virus scanning
  • Auto-responders and forwarders you set yourself
  • Calendar and contacts sync on Standard and above
  • Priority UK support on the same phone number

What it is not

  • A forwarder that hides your real address
  • Tied to your website - it works on its own
  • Locked in: your domain and addresses stay yours
  • Sold with a setup fee or a minimum term

Billed yearly. Add or remove mailboxes whenever you like - you are only ever charged for what is on the account.

Questions

The things people ask.

How much is a mailbox?
From £3 a month for Lite, £6 for Standard and £10 for Premium - billed yearly, so £36, £72 and £120 a year. The monthly figure is just the yearly one divided by twelve; there is no separate monthly plan and no setup fee.
Does it work with Outlook and Apple Mail?
Yes. It is a normal mailbox with IMAP, POP3 and SMTP, so it works in Outlook, Apple Mail, Thunderbird, the Gmail app or anything else. There is webmail in your Blinki dashboard too if you would rather not set anything up.
What is an alias, and why do I get so many?
An alias is a second address that lands in the same inbox - sales@, info@, bookings@ and so on. You get 10 on Lite, 50 on Standard and unlimited on Premium, and they cost nothing extra because they are not extra mailboxes.
Can I move my existing email across?
Yes, and your old mail comes with it. We set the new mailbox up alongside the old one, copy the messages over and only switch the delivery records once you are happy. Nothing is deleted at the other end.
Do I need to buy the domain from you?
No. If your domain is somewhere else you can point it at us and keep it where it is. If you would rather have everything on one bill you can transfer it in for free - either way it stays registered in your name.
What happens to spam?
Filtered before it reaches you, along with virus scanning on attachments. You can set auto-responders and forwarders yourself from the dashboard without asking us.
